Following on Dodge’s announcement that the production of the iconic Dodge Viper will come to an end in July this year, and the promise of a special limited edition Viper to commemorate the demise of the Viper, the company has unveiled the most potent Dodge Viper ever, namely the Dodge Viper ACR 1:33 Edition. The Dodge Viper ACR 1:33 Edition not only commemorate the end of the Viper but also pays homage to the production car lap record at the Laguna Seca race track that was set by the Dodge Viper ACR in the hands of Chris Winkler. That lap record was set on 24 November this year at a time of 1:33.944!
The Dodge Viper ACR 1:33 Edition made its debut at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show and features a unique two-tone black and red color scheme on exterior and piano black console bezels with red gauge highlights, as well as red accent stitching in the seats. Only 33 units will be produced!
