PPI Audi R8 Razor GTR
The German car tuning company, PPI Automotive Design GmbH, have produced a more potent, hardcore version of the original PPI Audi R8 Razor, the PPI Audi R8 Razor GTR! The Audi R8 Razor GTR has made its world debut at the Top Marques Monaco 2009, and features the same 4.2-liter V8 powerplant from the R8, but modified and tuned to produce a maximum of 580 bhp with a maximum torque of 443 lb-ft! That’s enough power and torque to push the PPI Audi R8 Razor GTR from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 206 mph!
The extra power comes courtesy of a supercharger, a ram-charged sport air filter system, a remapped engine management system and a stainless steel high performance exhaust system. This is coupled to a slight 250 kg decrease in curb weight courtesy of a high-strength Carbon Fibre aero body kit that incorporates a new front bumper with a specially engineered front diffuser, PPI sideskirts, and special rear wing with an adjustable Gurney-flap.
